The Douglas County Sheriff’s Department made a traffic stop for speeding in Eastern Douglas County. During the stop, the deputy observed the driver, 32-year-old Cody Crawford of Koshkonong, trying to hide something. The deputy obtained consent to search and located methamphetamine concealed in Crawford’s shoe. Crawford was currently on Probation for possession of a controlled substance. Crawford was booked on a 24-hour hold, and a warrant was obtained for Possession of a controlled substance, Methamphetamine, tampering with physical evidence, and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $2500 cash only.
