A Birch Tree man was injured in a motorcycle accident Saturday night south of Teresita. The Highway Patrol reports the 54-year-old man suffered serious injuries when he drove off the road and overturned. The man was flown to Mercy Hospital in Springfield. The accident happened on Highway T, five miles south of Teresita.
Two people were injured in a three-vehicle accident Sunday north of Winona. The highway patrol reports that a 38 year old Man from Mountain View suffered serious injuries and a 43 year old man from Elsinore suffered moderate injuries when the man from Mountain View crossed the center line and struck the vehicle the man from Elsinore was driving and then continued on and struck a vehicle driven by an 18 year old girl from Houston. The accident happened on Highway 19 about four miles north of Winona.
A pedestrian from Summersville was injured when he was hit by a vehicle. According to the Highway Patrol, the 51-year-old man was hit by an unknown vehicle on Highway WW, five miles south of Summersville. The vehicle fled the scene. The Pedestrian was taken to Mercy Hospital in Mountain View.
