The Highway Patrol reports that the 13-year-old boy was injured when the vehicle he was a passenger in crossed the center of the road and struck a towed unit of another vehicle. Neither driver was injured in the accident. The teen was flown to Mercy Hospital in Springfield. The accident happened on Highway 19, one mile north of Eminence.
