Former escaped murderer Grant Hardin has pleaded not guilty to escape charges. On Tuesday, he entered the plea in Izard County Circuit Court via Zoom. Hardin waived formal arraignment. Hardin’s pre-trial is set for Oct. 21 with a jury trial scheduled for Nov. 5-7. Hardin escaped the North Central Unit in Calico Rock on May 25th and was captured on June 6th, a mile and a half from the prison.
