Man arrested twice in two weeks for DWI in Howell County

The Howell County Sheriff’s Office has arrested the same individual on two separate occasions for Driving While Intoxicated (DWI), following independent traffic stops conducted two weeks apart. 44-year-old Jacob Wittwer was stopped for DWI on May 31st on Garner Blvd. He submitted a breath sample, which revealed he had a Blood Alcohol Content of .247%.

Then on  June 14, he was stopped on County Road 8800 in West Plains. Wittwer again admitted to drinking alcohol earlier. He had a Blood Alcohol Content of .181%.

On both occasions, Wittwer was booked into the Howell County Jail, and charges were referred to the Howell County Prosecutor’s Office for Driving While Intoxicated.
