Six Bears Named to Phil Steele Preseason All-Conference Team

CLEVELAND — Six Missouri State standouts were named to the Phil Steele Preseason All-CUSA team, the college football preview publication announced this week.

The 2025 Bears will test their mettle as an FBS program for the first time, matching up against a 12-team Conference USA field that featured five bowl teams last season.

MoState players recognized by the Phil Steele magazine as some of Conference USA’s players to watch this fall are first-teamer Yousef Obeid (K, Dearborn, Mich.), second-team honoree Davon Townley Jr.  (DE, Minneapolis, Minn.), third-teamers Erick Cade (OT, Denton, Texas) and Jmarivac Robinson (WR, Cocoa, Fla.) and fourth-team players Cash Hudson (OC, Tulsa, Okla.) and Jalen Brooks (LB, Knightdale, N.C.).
