Friday, they arrested 65-year-old Roy Sexton of West Plains on charges of felony possession of a controlled substance, failure to register a vehicle, no seat belt, and no vehicle inspection. He was taken to the Howell County Jail and placed on a 24-hour hold.
A woman from Texas was arrested Friday night in Texas County. The Highway Patrol reports that 25-year-old Jazmin Zavala of Humble, Texas, was arrested on charges of felony aggravated fleeing a law enforcement officer, felony resisting arrest for a felony, failure to maintain the right half of the roadway and failure to yield for an emergency vehicle. She was taken to the Texas County jail.
