
The Ozark County Sheriff’s Department reports the arrest of a man after a shooting incident at Bell Bridge. According to reports, a man and a woman were at the bridge on a gravel bar cleaning fish when a man who lives nearby approached them and shot several times over the couple into the trees. He then approached them and threatened them with an AR-15-style rifle. The couple got in their vehicle and left. When deputies arrived at the suspect’s house, he allegedly shot off several rounds and then exited the house with the AR-15 style rifle, waving it towards the patrol vehicles. He was met with orders to drop the weapon, which he did once he saw the deputy’s weapons, and was then taken into custody. Luke Seidel was booked into jail for Assault, Armed Criminal Action, Unlawful Use of a Weapon, and Harassment 1st. A search warrant was issued, and deputies recovered additional evidence, firearms, and ammunition.
