Authorities in Randolph County are warning residents to be on the lookout for counterfeit money. The Sheriff’s Office discovered $3,500 in counterfeit bills during a traffic stop.  Sheriff Kevin Bell said that on Thursday, deputies and ASP discovered 35 fake $100 bills on a traffic stop in Pocahontas. The suspect is in custody. There’s a good chance some of these fake $100’s were passed in our area. They all have the same serial number and the word “COPY” on the front upper left area.  They are printed on standard paper. If you have received one, please contact the Sheriff’s Office at 870-892-8888 or tips@randolphcountysheriff.org
