A Koshkonong woman suffered serious injuries in an accident on Highway PP, south of West Plains. The Patrol says that the 40-year-old woman was injured when she ran off the road and hit a tree. The woman was flown to Mercy Hospital in Springfield. The accident happened around 10:45 Thursday.
A Van Buren teen was injured in an accident east of Eastwood Thursday afternoon. The 18-year-old girl suffered minor injuries when she drove off the road and hit two trees, then overturned the Jeep she was driving. The accident happened on Route F, two miles east of Eastwood. The teen was taken to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
A man from Sparta suffered serious injuries and a woman from Ava suffered moderate injuries in a UTV accident east of Ava, Thursday evening. The Highway Patrol says the two were injured when an unidentified man failed to negotiate a curve and overturned the Arctic Cat. Both the injured were taken to Cox Hospital in Springfield. The accident happened on County Road 300, five miles east of Ava.
A Mountain View, Missouri, juvenile was injured in a motorcycle accident in Texas County. The Highway Patrol reports that the 17-year-old male was injured when he drove off the road and was ejected from the motorcycle. The juvenile was taken to Texas County Memorial Hospital. The accident happened on Highway 137, two miles south of Tyrone.
