Yesterday, Shannon County Sheriff’s Deputies conducted a traffic stop near Winona. After the stop was made, two occupants were identified as Alisha May of Dalton, Massachusetts, and Leslie Houts of Floyd, Virginia. A search of the vehicle was made upon suspicion, and deputies discovered 10 grams of psilocybin and 247 grams of marijuana. Both were taken into the Shannon County Jail. May was charged with Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance and is on $5,000 cash-only bond, and Houts was charged with Felony Delivery of a Controlled Substance and is on $10,000 cash-only bond.
