On July 4, 2025, the K9 Unit of the Wright County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on Highway C in Norwood, Missouri.
During the course of the investigation, methamphetamine was located on Jacob Kelley, the driver of the vehicle.
Jacob Kelley has been formally charged with felony Possession of a Controlled Substance by the Wright County Prosecuting Attorney and is currently being held on a $5,000 cash-only bond with standard conditions.
Kelley has pending charges in Douglas County and is on Parole with the Missouri Department of Corrections for Manufacturing a Controlled Substance and Possession of a Controlled Substance.
