On Thursday Howell County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to run a welfare check on a Lexus SUV that had been parked at the Hitchin’ Post in Caulfield. Upon arrival, deputies observed a man and a woman, one of whom looked familiar from a Springfield Warrant. After the investigation, deputies identified the man as Landon Marsh and could visibly see that Marsh was trying to conceal a hidden rifle between his legs. When Marsh was placed under arrest, an altercation began in the parking lot, which ended in Marsh being tased and taken into custody after a short foot pursuit. Marsh’s new charges consist of Resisting or Interfering with Arrest for a Felony and Felony Unlawful Possession Of A Firearm. Marsh is being held at the Howell County Jail on $100,000 bond.
