A Thayer man was injured early Thursday morning after his Motorcycle struck a deer on Missouri 142, five miles east of Thayer. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the crash occurred around 5:45 A.M. According to the report, a 34-year-old man was traveling eastbound on a 2017 Harley-Davidson when he hit a deer, lost control, and ran off the right side of the roadway. He sustained moderate injuries and was transported by ambulance to Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains.
