Thayer R-II is excited to introduce Mr. Jason Morris as the new elementary principal for the 2025-2026 school year. Mr. Morris comes to the district from the Mountain Home School District, where he is currently a junior high assistant principal. His administrative credentials include being an elementary principal for seven years in the Gainesville School District, and he has served nine other years in different administrative roles as assistant principal in the middle school, junior high, athletic director, and high school levels. His teaching experience includes various junior high and high school math classes, physical education, and health.
He is excited to move his wife, Amy, and their two children, who are still at home, a junior son, Owen, and a daughter, Ella, who will enter eighth grade, to Bobcat Country. He also has a son, Corwin, who will be a college junior playing football in Oklahoma. Welcome to Bobcat Country, Mr. Morris!
