
Upon arrival, deputies determined that the suspect had fled the scene. It was alleged that the suspect used a firearm, stolen from the residence, as a blunt object to assault a male victim inside the home. One resident held an active ex parte order against the suspect. During the subsequent investigation, the suspect made contact with the Sheriff and voluntarily agreed to surrender. Tyler Seward was arrested without incident on July 14, 2025. The firearm was also recovered with the cooperation of the suspect. A warrant was issued for Seward for charges of first-degree burglary, stealing a firearm, unlawful possession of a firearm, second-degree assault, and armed criminal action. He is being held without bond.
