KANSAS CITY, Mo.– Smith, who was franchise-tagged in March, agreed to terms on a four-year deal with the Chiefs ahead of Tuesday’s 3 p.m. CT deadline. According to a report from ESPN NFL reporter Adam Schefter, Smith and the Chiefs agreed to an extension that pays the 26-year-old $94 million, of which $70 million is guaranteed.
