
The Highway Patrol reports that an 18-year-old girl from Success suffered serious injuries and a 19-year-old girl from Columbia suffered moderate injuries when 19-year-old Jadyne Curnutt of Success drove off the road and hit a sign and a tree, causing the vehicle to overturn. Curnett was charged with felony DWI, serious physical injury, failure to drive on the right half of the roadway resulting in a crash, and minor, visibly intoxicated. The 18-year-old girl was flown to Cox South in Springfield. Curnutt was taken to Texas County Memorial Hospital. The accident occurred on Highway 17, approximately one and a half miles south of Roby.
