A woman wanted on an active Felony warrant was found Thursday afternoon at a rural cabin near Brixey, Missouri. Ozark County Sheriff’s Office reports state that a man staying at the property repeatedly misled them about her whereabouts. Deputies responded to the residence around 12:23 p.m. in search of Lashanna Lambert, a known fugitive. When officers arrived, they spoke with Joshua Benson, who was staying at the cabin. According to officials, Benson claimed Lambert was not there, despite her vehicle being visible in the driveway. Authorities also revealed that this was not the first time Benson had been questioned about Lambert. Just a week earlier, he allegedly told officers he did not know her location. Benson was arrested and is facing charges of hindering the prosecution of a Felony
