31-year-old Eric Wayne Williams allegedly stole nine head of cattle valued at over $15,000. Williams was arrested as a result of a joint operation with the Independence County Sheriff’s Office and the Arkansas Department of Agriculture. Investigators were alerted by staff at the Cattleman’s Livestock Exchange in Charlotte. The case remains under investigation.
