A West Plains woman was taken into custody Thursday morning on multiple charges in Howell County. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 49-year-old Lisa M. Howell was arrested at 9:23 a.m. on August 1. Howell faces charges of felony possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, and failure to wear a seat belt. Howell was transported to the Howell County Jail and has since been released.
