A 36-year-old Mountain Home man, Stephan Whaples, is facing several charges following his arrest on Wednesday afternoon. Authorities say Whaples was booked on felony possession of drug paraphernalia involving meth, cocaine, heroin, and fentanyl; felony possession of a controlled substance; felony fleeing on foot; as well as speeding, improper use of registration, no proof of insurance, and criminal trespass. He was taken into custody around 4:46 p.m. and transported to the Baxter County Detention Center.
