One person was seriously injured at a construction site between Imboden and Smithville on Tuesday. Dispatch received a call Tuesday afternoon reporting that a worker at the site had a generator dropped on him. A medical helicopter was requested, but could not come to the site because of the weather. The injured person was taken to the Hospital by ambulance. No name has been released.
