23-year-old Mickey Ahititt Naphoxay was wanted on an attempted murder charge in South Carolina and was taken into custody Thursday afternoon in Ozark Acres. The Sharp County Sheriff’s Office says it was notified by the U.S. Marshals Service just after noon that the suspect might be hiding in the area. Around 1:40 p.m., the Marshals located the man in a camper and placed him under arrest. He was transported to the Sharp County Detention Center, where he is being held pending extradition back to South Carolina. Authorities say the arrest stems from a 2022 case in Union, South Carolina.
