Sunday afternoon, the Shannon County Sheriff’s Department received a report of a stolen Dodge Ram in Birch Tree. A little after 1 pm, the Carter County Sheriff’s Department located the stolen vehicle and began a pursuit that traveled into Reynolds County.. Missouri Highway Patrol Troopers joined the pursuit, which ended in Iron County. The driver of the vehicle, identified as Thomas Stark, was arrested. Stark had felony warrants from the Department of Probation and Parole for resisting arrest, delivery and possession of a controlled substance, and DWI. A firearm was found in the stolen truck, and the investigation is ongoing. Additional charges are expected. Stark was taken to the Reynolds County jail and is being held without bond.
