Two people were injured in an accident west of West Plains on Tuesday. The Highway Patrol reports that a 26-year-old woman from Dora suffered moderate injuries and a 26-year-old man from West Plains suffered minor injuries when the man attempted to make a left turn and failed to yield to the vehicle the woman was driving. Both the injured were taken to Ozarks Healthcare. The accident happened on U.S. 160 at County Road 8010, two miles west of West Plains.
A woman from Niangua was injured in an accident on Tuesday in Wright County. The Highway Patrol reports that the 47-year-old woman suffered serious injuries when she lost control of the Kawasaki Mule she was driving, ran off the road, hit a tree, and then overturned. She as flown to Cox South in Springfield. The accident happened on Klondike Road, eight miles north of Grovesprings.
