64-year-old Brenda Kowalski was killed when 23-year-old Brian Kowalski fired the gun, and it exploded, with a piece of the gun striking the woman’s neck. The incident happened on Tuesday evening at the Sylamore Shooting Range in Stone County. Brian Kowalski was treated and released at a local medical facility.
