KC Chiefs name 14 players to the Practice Squad

The Kansas City Chiefs are more than excited to open their 2025-26 season in Brazil against the Los Angeles Chargers. With a preseason full of excitement and crucial decisions being made, the Chiefs are still making some early-season transactions. They announced the signing of 14 new players who were assigned to the Practice Squad.

  • Hanson, C.J. (G- Holy Cross)
  • Holiday, Jimmy (WR- Louisiana Tech)
  • Izzard, Coziah (DT- Penn State)
  • Knowles, Kevin (CB- Florida State)
  • Oladokun, Chris (QB- South Dakota State)
  • Presley, Hal (WR- Baylor)
  • Smith, Melvin (CB- Southern Arkansas)
  • Steele, Carson (RB- UCLA)
  • Tonyan, Robert (TE- Indiana State)
  • Tuipulotu, Marlon (DT- Southern California)
  • Watson, Tre (TE- Texas A&M)
  • Godrick, Chukwuebuka (T- No College)

The Chiefs will kick off the new season on September 5th at 7 p.m. in São Paulo, Brazil, versus the LA Chargers.
