Deputies responded to a disturbance involving neighbors. The investigation revealed that Eugene Harden confronted a neighbor, alleging that gunfire from a nearby property had struck his residence. During the confrontation, Harden threatened to return fire and later discharged a firearm while driving away. Deputies contacted Harden at his residence, where he admitted to firing his Smith & Wesson 9mm handgun from his vehicle toward the property. Harden surrendered the weapon, which was loaded with a full magazine and a round in the chamber. Eugene Harden has been charged with felony Unlawful Discharge of a Weapon.
