A woman from Mountain View was injured in an accident north of Pomona on Tuesday morning. The Highway Patrol reports the 32-year-old woman suffered moderate injuries when she fell asleep at the wheel, ran off the road, and overturned. The woman was taken to Mercy Hospital in Springfield. The accident happened on U.S. 63, a half mile north of Pomona.
Tuesday evening, a man from Naylor was injured in an accident in Ripley County. The Highway Patrol says the 54-year-old man suffered moderate injuries when he ran off the road and struck a utility pole. The man was taken to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. The accident happened on Missouri 142, a half mile east of Naylor.
