Saturday, two people were injured in an accident north of Thayer. The Highway Patrol reports that a 51-year-old woman from Marionville suffered serious injuries and a 16-year-old boy from Thayer suffered minor injuries when the boy attempted to cross the Highway and was hit by the vehicle the woman was driving. The woman was flown to Mercy Hospital in Springfield. The accident happened four miles north of Thayer on Highway 63
Three people suffered minor injuries in an accident south of Evening Shade, Missouri. The Highway Patrol says that a 4 year old boy and a 29 year old woman both from Plato and a 36 year old man from Calico Rock Arkansas were all injured when the car driven by the man from Calico Rock attempted to pass a Semi and hit the pickup driven by the woman from Plato as she turned onto the Highway, the man’s car then hit the Semi. The accident happened on Highway AW, one mile south of Even Shade in Texas County.
A man from Tecumseh was injured in an accident east of Caulfield on Sunday. The Highway Patrol reports that the 20-year-old man suffered minor injuries when he fell asleep driving and ran off the road and struck an embankment. The accident happened on U.S. 160, four miles east of Caulfield.

The woman was taken to Baxter Health in Mountain Home. The accident happened on Highway 101, two miles south of Caulfield.
