
A man was injured Friday morning after his motorcycle struck a deer about ten miles northwest of Willow Springs. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash happened at 7:37 a.m. on Highway U. A 2011 Kawasaki motorcycle, driven by a 23-year-old Elk Creek resident was traveling westbound when the collision occurred. The rider suffered moderate injuries and was transported by Willow Springs Ambulance to Ozarks Healthcare for treatment. The motorcycle sustained minor damage and was towed from the scene.
