A man from Ava suffered serious injuries in a motorcycle accident in Taney County on Saturday. The Highway Patrol reports the 20-year-old was injured when he hit the rear of a vehicle that was turning. The Ava man was flown to Cox South. The accident happened on Highway 176, at Cedarwood Drive in Merrian Woods.
A woman from West Plains was injured in a motorcycle accident east of Thayer. The Highway Patrol says that the 31-year-old woman suffered minor injuries when she ran off the road and overturned the Motorcycle. She was taken to Ozarks Healthcare. The accident happened on Highway 142, four miles east of Thayer.
