Authorities have identified a person of interest in connection with a double homicide that occurred earlier this week in Fulton County. According to the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office and Arkansas State Police, investigators are searching for 32-year-old Jacob Lowell Smith in relation to the deaths of Tonya Stallings, 54, and Ashley Stallings, 33, both of Ash Flat. Deputies responded Tuesday to a residence in the 300 block of Sweet Clover Lane in the Agnos community, where the two victims were found dead inside a home. On Thursday, deputies executed a search warrant at a Mountain Home apartment connected to Smith as part of the investigation. Authorities say Smith later became aware he was named a person of interest in the case and also had an active absconder warrant for his arrest. Smith is described as 6 feet 2 inches tall, with a slender build, blue eyes, and blonde hair that may have been dyed. He is heavily tattooed, including a distinctive bow tie tattoo on his neck and throat area. Investigators believe Smith may be traveling in a stolen red 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup, bearing Arkansas license plate BEH93R. Two firearms were also reported stolen from the scene. Authorities warn that Smith should be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone who sees him or knows his whereabouts is urged to contact the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office at 870-895-2601.
