Up to 200 new technology jobs are expected to come to West Plains as Provalus, an Atlanta-based IT solutions firm, announced plans to make the city its next expansion site. Provalus provides customized solutions in areas such as cybersecurity, network operations, and quality assurance. Company officials are working with city and state leaders to move the project forward, with $2.5 million in state funding secured to renovate the former West Plains Grocery building for the new facility. In addition to the West Plains expansion, Provalus is also collaborating with city leaders in Harrison, Arkansas, to establish another location. If contracts are finalized soon, officials say the West Plains site could open by fall 2026.
