62-year-old Darlene Whisenhunt was injured when she attempted to turn into a parking lot at a pre-school, but hit a concrete drainage ditch. She was taken to UAMS in Little Rock, where she passed away. Authorities say the accident was caused by a medical emergency. A child in the vehicle was also injured and taken to Baxter Health. The accident happened last Wednesday on Springwood Drive in Mountain Home.
