A man from Dexter suffered serious injuries in an accident west of Doniphan on Wednesday. The Highway Patrol reports that the 56-year-old man was injured when he crossed the centerline and hit a vehicle driven by a 26-year-old Gatewood man, then another vehicle driven by a 28-year-old woman from Gatewood hit debris in the roadway. The accident happened on Highway 142, seven miles west of Doniphan. The Dexter man was taken to Poplar Bluff Regional Hospital.
A teen from McCrory, AR., was injured in an accident in Wright County on Wednesday. The Highway Patrol says that the 19-year-old girl suffered minor injuries when she hit a deer that was standing in the road. The accident happened on Eastbound U.S. Highway 60, three miles east of Mansfield.
