The Ozarks Healthcare Foundation has helped bring safer and more restful nights to one of the region’s youngest patients. The Foundation recently donated a specialized Safety Sleeper® bed to 3-year-old Deacon Hallett, who receives therapy services through Ozarks Healthcare Therapies. Deacon experiences expressive and receptive language delays along with sensory-emotional regulation challenges, which can make sleeping difficult. The enclosed bed is designed to support children with sensory needs by offering a secure and calming environment that promotes better rest and overall well-being. Deacon’s grandmother, Adrian Hallett, expressed appreciation for the gift and the positive impact it will have on his daily life. Members of the Ozarks Healthcare Foundation Board and therapy team delivered the bed in person and celebrated with Deacon and his family. As the year nears its close, the Ozarks Healthcare Foundation encourages community members to consider end-of-year giving to help support local patients through needed equipment, services, and care enhancements including items like Deacon’s new bed.
