The matchup between the major-league Cardinals and their Double-A affiliate is scheduled for Monday, March 23, at 6:05 p.m. This marks the fifth time in Springfield history that St. Louis will take the field at Hammons Field, with previous appearances in 2005 (two games), 2008 (two games), 2012, and 2017. The upcoming contest ends the longest gap between visits since the tradition began, giving fans across the Ozarks another chance to see their favorite big-league and minor-league Cardinals share the diamond.
