The City of Mountain View will receive a $1 million Community Development Block Grant from the Missouri Department of Economic Development to improve outdoor recreation. The money will be used to improve Wayside Park and pedestrian connections that support daily recreation, health, and community gatherings. The South Central Ozarks Council of Governments prepared and submitted the grant application and will provide administration, complianc,e and reporting services on behalf of the city.
