A man from West Plains was injured in an accident in Pomona on Tuesday. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that the 42-year-old man suffered moderate injuries when a 17-year-old girl from Pomona pulled into the path of the vehicle he was driving. The accident happened on U.S. 63 in Pomona.
Two Winona juveniles were injured in an accident in Carter County. The Highway Patrol says that the two 12-year-old girls suffered minor injuries when the vehicle they were in, driven by a 36-year-old Winona woman, struck an animal in the roadway. The two girls were taken to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. The accident happened on U.S. 60 at Highway C.
