The Chiefs pulled within three late after Mahomes escaped a near sack and connected with Xavier Worthy for 42 yards, setting up a 10-yard touchdown pass to Hollywood Brown with 3:27 remaining. But Dallas kept the ball the rest of the way. Two pass interference penalties extended the Cowboys’ drive, and Prescott found George Pickens for 13 yards to seal the game just before the two-minute warning. Dallas ran out the clock from there.
