NORTH LITTLE ROCK – Arkansas opened the second half with a 22-6 run and turned a 10-point halftime lead into an insurmountable 26-point deficit as the #25 Razorbacks cruised to an 82-58 victory over Fresno State Saturday afternoon at Simmons Bank Arena.
Darius Acuff Jr. led the Hogs with 18 points – 11 in the second half – while adding eight assists with just one turnover. Karter Knox also had a strong second half, scoring nine of his 11 points in the period.
JONESBORO, Ark. (12/6/25) – Arkansas State men’s basketball (7-3, 0-0 SBC) netted a season-high 13 three-pointers en route to a 90-78 victory at Little Rock (3-5, 0-0 OVC) on Saturday night inside the Jack Stephens Center.
TJ Caldwell led the team with 19 points and Fredy-Salam Sylla posted a career high of 16 while Matt Hayman (15) and Royal Blue Smith (11) also reached double figures.
KANSAS CITY MO.– A key run to end the first half and start the second proved to be the difference on Sunday as the Mizzou men’s basketball team fell to No. 21 Kansas in the StorageMart Border Showdown, 80-60. The Tigers fall to 8-2, while the Jayhawks improve to 7-3.
Mark Mitchell led Missouri with 21 points, and Jacob Crews added 11 points.
TULSA – Missouri State made a season-high 13 threes and converted 49 percent from the field, but home-standing Tulsa was equal to the task here Saturday with five players scoring in double figures to send the Bears home with a 98-74 setback.
Kobi Williams made 7-of-10 field goals and three triples to lead the Bears with 20 points, while Keith Palek III added 15. Trey Williams Jr. and Zaxton King also scored in double figures for Missouri State (4-4) with 12 and 10 points, respectively.
WEST PLAINS MO-The Missouri State-West Plains Grizzly basketball team won their 4th straight game to improve to 7-7 on the season, beating Kaskaskia College 92-84 on Saturday. The Grizzlies were led by Ace Evans with 23 points and Shunderrius Glass with 22 points.
