Saturday afternoon, a 70-year-old man from Birch Tree suffered minor injuries when he drove off the road and hit a tree, and then the rear of his vehicle was hit by another vehicle. The man was taken to Mercy St Francis Hospital. The accident happened on Highway E, seven miles west of Eminence.
Sunday evening, a 37-year-old woman and a 38-year-old man, both from Birch Tree both suffered minor injuries when a vehicle driven by a 31-year-old man from Birch Tree entered the roadway and struck the vehicle the woman was driving. The accident happened on Highway 99 at First Street in Birch Tree. The two injured were taken to Mercy St Francis Hospital.
