FAYETTEVILLE – Arkansas guard Darius Acuff Jr. averaged 17.5 points, nine assists and five rebounds in wins over #6 Louisville and Fresno State to be named the SEC Men’s Basketball Freshman of the Week.
In the win over #6 Louisville he recorded his first career double-double with 17 points and a career-high 10 assists while adding five rebounds.
In the win over Fresno State, Acuff had a game-high 18 points and eight assists with just one turnover and five rebounds.
