The West Plains Lady Zizzers lost their home opener Monday night to Nixa 61 to 54. Shaylee Peterson led the way with 18, Ainsley McWilliams had 16, and Gillian Green had 12. Lady Zizzers are now 3 and 2 and will play Springfield Glendale Thursday night at Glendale.
The Thayer Lady Bobcats lost to Southside in the opening round of the Mark Martin Automotive Lyon College Tournament on Monday, 79-53. Thayer was led by Kadyn Hillis with 17 points, and Ryleigh Davis had 12 points. The Lady Bobcats will play Cedar Ridge on Wednesday at 4:30 in the consolation final.
