
The West Plains Zizzer boys lost a tough one to Willard Tuesday night 73 to 66. Jared Kraft led the Zizzers with 22 points, followed by Ethan Miller with 12 and Aiden Judd with 11. Zizzers are now 1-5 on the season and will go to Mountain Home next Monday night.
The Battle of the Border continued at Mammoth Spring High School on Tuesday with 4 games.
In the First game, the Willow Springs Lady Bears beat Koshkonong 65-32. Chloe Jones led the Lady Bears with 24 points.
In the second game, the Mammoth Spring Bears beat Viola 63-39. The Bears had four players score in double figures, led by Colten Boddie and Gavin Sims with 14 points each; Skylar Davis and Richard Gatewood each had 12 points.
In the Third game, fans were on the edge of their seats in a barnburner that went into triple overtime, with the Mammoth Spring Lady Bears beating Viola 73-63. The Lady Bears’ Molly Corbett led all scorers with 37 points.
In the Final game, the Couch Indians beat Calico Rock 82-72.

The Thayer Bobcats and Lady Bobcats both lost to Sloan-Hendrix. In the Girls’ game, the Lady Bobcats lost 54-43. Ryleigh Davis had 19 points for Thayer. In the Boys’ game, Thayer lost 68-60. Hunter Trinkler led the Bobcats with 22 points.
