
SAN MARCOS, Texas (12/17/25) – Arkansas State men’s basketball (8-4, 1-0 SBC) pulled away late in the second half to secure an 89-70 conference-opening victory at Texas State (7-6, 0-1 SBC) on Wednesday night inside Strahan Arena.
Christian Harmon led the team with 21 points on 6-for-10 (60 percent) shooting from the floor, 5-for-7 (71.4 percent) shooting from beyond the arc, and a 4-for-4 clip from the free throw line. Fredy Salam Sylla (15), Matt Hayman (14), and Jalen Hampton (10) joined the junior guard in double figures.
