41-year-old Clinton Belt and 67-year-old Perry Hayes were both charged with unlawful possession of a firearm, and no seat belt. Belt is also charged with driving while revoked, no insurance, failure to register a vehicle, and displaying the plates of another vehicle. Both men were taken to Howell County Jail and placed on a 24-hour hold.
