The Battle of the Border continued last night at Mammoth Spring High School. The Mammoth Spring Lady Bears were able to get a win over Cotter 39-35. The Lady Bears were led by top scorer Molly Corbett with 17. The Mammoth Spring boys got a win over the Alton Comets 79-74. The Bears were led by Ayden Matheney with 27 and Richard Gatewood was able to add 20. Kaden Willard added 25 for the Comets in the loss. After the game ECNN’s Mike Robertson got a word with Bears head coach Houston Cooper.
The Mammoth Spring Bears and Lady Bears will both advance to the finals of the Battle of the Border tomorrow. The Mammoth Spring Lady Bears will play Maynard and the Boys will play Pocahontas.
